NVS Salon and Spa was recognized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as one of the Top 100 Small Businesses in America for 2013. The Blue Ribbon Award, earned for NVS Salon’s dedication to the principles of free enterprise and their contributions to restoring jobs and prosperity, is one of many awards that the Maryland-based, minority-owned small business has recently won.

The awards program, sponsored by Sam’s Club®, honors companies that demonstrate excellent business practices in several areas including strategy, employee development, community involvement, and customer service.

In addition to the numerous awards NVS Salon and Spa has earned, they were also honored as a Top 200 Salon by Salon Today Magazine, traveled to Hawaii to style hair for the 2013 Pro Bowl cheerleaders, the first and only salon to be accepted on the Green Registry, and awarded the Harford Award by the Harford Chamber of Commerce.
