Lost & Found Friday is a service of Lost & Found Ohio Pets and The Cleveland Pets Examiner. This weekly service is meant to network pets that are missing or have been found in the Northern part of the state of Ohio. Most Lost & Found Friday columns here contain only pets North of Columbus. To see pets lost and found all throughout the state of Ohio, please visit Lost & Found Ohio Pets on Facebook.
Please be sure to view the photos and details in the list attached to this article. These lost and found pets want to be reunited with their families. If you see a pet is missing from your area, please keep an eye out, and please continue to share with your friends.
Today’s Tip: making the most out of Internet networking
Lost & Found Ohio Pets reports that their Facebook page has 550 ‘likes’, yet some of the listings of lost and found pets on their page have received more than 21,000 views! This is an example of the magic of social networking. Depending on how you set your page security, sharing a pet on your Facebook page can reach scores more than just the friends on your list.
L&F Ohio Pets network the pets on their page with county shelters, animal control facilities, humane societies, and other pages for missing pets in Ohio. Every page has their own followers, so the more places you post your lost or found pet, the more people will see it.
Here are some Facebook pages where you can post notices of your lost pet, or a pet that you have found.

Annie had just found her forever home on tuesday. Unfortunately Annie squeezed out a door and managed to jump a fence and is now on the loose. Annie lived on the streets for two years, so she’s very leary of people. She was rescued about 3 weeks ago. IF you see her, do not chase/pursue. She will most likely run. Call (Mark Rhodes) at 724-344-0228 or Diane Redman-King @ 330-442-5464 with a location and if possible keep an eye on her. She is sick and heart worm positive. Hopefully she’ll just lie down somewhere and stay long enough for someone she trusts to get her. When we were tracking her the streets we were able to keep her near by tossing smelly value treats such as chicken & cooked bacon.
