Low pressure off the New England coast will continue to impact the region today with clouds and a few scattered showers, especially this morning, along with unseasonably chilly temperatures. Some drier weather will begin to work into the region late tonight into Monday as high pressure builds in from the Great Lakes. Milder conditions will then return into the middle and latter part of next week.
- A Frost Advisory is in effect from midnight tonight til 8 a.m. Monday for eastern portions of the Mohawk Valley, the Catskill Region, Taconics, Glens Falls and the Saratoga Region, the Berkshires, and southern Vermont. Temperatures dropping to between 33 and 36 degrees by Monday morning along with light winds will result in frost formation. Sensitive and tender vegetation and plants should be covered or brought inside.
- A Freeze Warning is in effect from midnight tonight til 8 a.m. Monday for the southern Adirondacks and from 2 a.m. tonight til 8 a.m. Monday for the western Catskills. Temperatures dropping to or below 32 degrees by Monday morning will result in a hard freeze. Sensitive and tender vegetation and plants may succumb to the freezing temperatures if not covered or brought inside.
