After bulking up to play a bodybuilder in Pain & Gain, Mark Wahlberg pushed his body to the limit to trim down for his latest role in the new action thriller, 2 Guns which is in theaters today. 2 Guns stars Denzel Washington, Mark Wahlberg, Paula Patton, and Bill Paxton. Earlier this year, Mark Wahlberg gained 40 pounds of muscle for Pain & Gain costarring Dwayne Johnson and Anthony Mackie. Mark credits using his product line of MARKED nutrition products, which Mark developed with leading GNC scientist & wellness experts, to trim down and bulk up for these roles as each had different physical body sculpting demands.
The MARKED nutrition products helped him meet the physical demands for these movie roles. For example, Mark gained 40 pounds of muscle for Pain & Gain and a short while later trimmed down for his role in 2 Guns. Mark used the MARKED training schedule & other MARKED nutrition products when he was bulking up to play a bodybuilder in Pain & Gain, but this time around for his role in 2 Guns he used the Blast & Burn Pack since that product is specifically formulated to help you slim-down. Mark Wahlberg predominantly used the MARKED Blast & Burn Pack since he needed to trim down for 2 Guns and not bulk-up. He also incorporated a lot of cardio into his workout plan and credits basketball as one of the activities that helped him slim down.
The MARKED product line which Mark developed with Pittsburgh headquartered GNC includes seven nutritional products: BLAST & BURN PACK, MAXIMUM NUTRITION DAILY PACK, PRE-WORKOUT IGNITER, MASS GAINER, 100% WHEY PROTEIN COMPLEX, WHEY PROTEIN SHAKE and the WHEY PROTEIN BAR. The web site markednutrition.com has product and training details to achieve your fitness goals and optimize nutrition. The products are shown in the slideshow attached to this article and can be bought at GNC, select Rite Aid locations that are partnered with GNC, Walgreens, drugstore.com, PROSOURCE.NET, and luckyvitamin.com. Today, Mark’s fitness results can be seen in the premiere of 2 Guns.
The movie 2 Guns is distributed by Universal Pictures which is owned by the Comcast Corporation. The Comcast Corporation provides entertainment, information and communications products and services. Comcast and GE acquired NBCUniversal for approximately $30 billion three years ago. In March of this year, GE divested their shares, and Comcast acquired 100 percent ownership. Comcast entered the second quarter (April-June) of this year with full ownership of NBCUniversal. Comcast Corporation’s (NASDAQ:CMCSA) stock price has been increasing throughout the year. It is currently averaging a stock price of 43.40 in the third quarter.
