Last night I went and checked out the 10PM show of “Hangover 3” hoping for the best but went in with low expectations. After the second movie did everything the first movie did except in Bangkok, the final installment promised to be bigger and better. This time around, the entire Wolf Pack is back and so are some familiar faces from the first movie. Let’s see if they made good on their promises.
Two years ago, Stu got married, again, and the rest of the Wolf Pack was as good as can be expected and Mr. Chow was heading to prison. You find out that Chow has staged a riot at the prison so that he can make an escape. Back in California, Allen has bought a giraffe and causes and accident on the highway. His dad tries to tell him to straighten up or he will stop giving him money but in typical Allen style, he refuses and puts on his headphones. Unbeknownst to Allen, his dad has a heart attack and ends up dying.
At the funeral we find out Allen hasn’t been taking his meds. The pack and his family decide to stage an intervention to send Allen to a rehab center in Arizona. He agrees, but on the way down they get stopped by guys in pig masks. They all get kidnapped and taken to a man named Marshall. He informs them since their initial trip to Las Vegas he has lost a lot of money, namely gold bars thanks to Chow. Marshall holds Doug for ransom until the rest of the pack can get Chow and his gold.
If you are expecting “Hangover 3” to be like the other two you would be mistaken. Unlike the other two, they don’t actually take any form of drug at the beginning and they aren’t trying to find one of their own, unless you count Chow. This movie is nothing like any of the others and not in a good way. I guess I was hoping they would get all drugged up and do it all again with people from the other movies.
Almost everything happened exactly like Daniel Tosh predicted in his “Spoiler Alert” for “Hangover 3”. Due to the movie being absolutely horrible, I will save you from seeing it and just ask you to watch his video on this link below.
Tosh.0 Spoiler Alert – Hangover 3
The movie is bad and not bad bad, it’s really bad. It was all focused on Alan and Chow than anyone else in the movie. The first movie was to get Doug back and the second was based around Stu but why do a whole movie around Chow and Alan with the rest of the pack? Why not just have the two of them in a movie and none of the others because they were just there. Ed Helms does his usual yelling and screaming and Bradley Cooper just follows everyone around. Zach Galifianakis and Ken Jeong are the actual stars of the movie and aren’t that great either. With Heather Graham and Mike Epps back and the addition of John Goodman this movie still sucked. Wait for the rental or just don’t waste your time with this at all.
