What: You’re invited to join the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People – Baltimore Branch, as they celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the 1963 for the March on Washington. This breakfast event will honor both the new and old Freedom Fighter activists with awards. This years’ theme is entitled, ‘Passing the Torch.’
Did you know? NAACP – Baltimore Branch has been labeled as ‘the biggest and baddest, oldest and boldest civil rights organization in the world’!
Look forward to a VIP reception with NAACP leadership and keynote address by Author Wes Moore between 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. The award ceremony and breakfast takes place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Check out a list of confirmed awardees below.
