San Francisco has been enjoying a “Summer of Racing,” celebrity sightings, and cups of luxury recently. Don’t avoid Pier 27/29 or the Marina Green during the Louis Vuitton Cup, Challenger Series, Red Bull Youth Cup or America’s Cup just because you think the sport is only for those who are the social elites of San Francisco. There are meeting spaces, exhibits, concerts, and free spectator areas along the Bay for residents and visitors of San Francisco to enjoy. If you are lucky you may be able to spot a few celebrities (Tom Cruise) and public figures along the way. Guests of sponsors can enjoy Club 72 and others can purchase tickets to VIP hospitality areas, and watch the races from grandstands, but the “Summer of Racing” is meant to be enjoyed by everyone. Spectators can enjoy Mumm Champagne, wine from Napa Valley and food at America’s Cup Village and America’s Cup Park. When it comes to coffee, what else would you have, other than a Nespresso?
