Here’s some more exciting news on the new Nokia Lumia 1020 Windows Phones for all Windows Phones users (and potential new users) out there! It is now the best Windows Phones one can get, so read further to find out why.
According to Lucas Westcoat of Microsoft, the Nokia Lumia 1020 is the game changer when it comes to the camera (41 megapixel camera that delivers sophisticated zooming capability) and a secondary video camera (great for recording video and capturing still images). The outstanding 41 megapixel camera captures great images, and enables the user zoom in really, really deep into an image. It’s sort of like creating a story within a story.
Lucas also loves a lot of the great apps that Nokia developed to help the camera do its job, especially the Pro Camera app. The Pro Cam has many great features that allows users a great deal of granularity over the image, so you can control everything from the white balance, manual focus, ISO, shutter speed (exposure time). As you make the image change, it will give a live preview of what it will look like once you snap the picture. For example, after a long and hard day of heavy over time work with little sleep, anyone will wake up looking dull and pale, which is not the ideal look for being in group photos. Thanks to the Nokia Lumia’s camera and Pro Cam app, users can change the white balance (get rid of too much orange or yellow color) and make skin look well-rested, glowing, and radiant (beautiful and flawless, like how models look in magazines, even after a long night of partying)! This great app captures both the zoomed in 5 megapixel image and the 38 megapixel image simultaneously, so users can reframe the image and focus on different things. The Pro Cam is flexible for those who simply don’t want too much going on, because it has the option to capture 5 megapixel. For those who are not as technical and don’t necessary want a lot of those controls, there are other great apps such as the Nokia Smart Cam app (Best Shot, Change Faces, Action Shot, Motion Focus and Remove Moving Objects), which is great for users who take photos with a point and shoot, because it offers options to select the best photos.
Lucas is very impressed with the accessories that comes with the 1020, and his favorite is the Nokia Camera Grip which is a sculpted cover that helps extend the life of the 1020’s built-in battery. It has a high quality replacement shutter button and a standard tripod mount in the base which compliments the Lumia 1020’s high end imaging capability. In addition to the Camera Grip’s extra battery life, it also tells how many battery life is left on the unit and comes with a tripod stand.
Lucas sounds very enthusiastic about the new Nokia Lumia 1020 Windows Phone, and raves about the camera (to check out what Lucas Westcoat has to say, click here). He says there isn’t another smartphone that offers a 41 megapixal camera, so it is far better than a lot of other alternatives out there in the market today and is the ideal phone for those who take a lot of photos (with the way social media is today, majority of users take a lot of pictures). The Lumia 920 is also an excellent Windows Phone, due to its great camera (not as many megapixals as the Lumia 1020) that’s phenomenal in low light.
Lucas is a specialist for Microsoft, so naturally he’s enthusiastic and advocates for the new Nokia Lumia 1020 (and all Windows Phones). But “how impressive” is the Nokia Lumia 1020 to everyday users, and will prospective users be as stimulated as Lucas is with this new smartphone? It’s available now at ATT, so find out for yourself (return it after 14 days if it doesn’t meet your expectations/needs), or come back soon for an in-depth, up-close and personal review of its products highlights and specs!
