Nominations are now open for the Spirited Women of Baltimore Awards, which will honor everyday women who make extraordinary contributions to their community and those around them.
According to a release from the organization sponsoring the nominations, MyCity4Her.com:
“As the premier vehicle for recognizing women who are dedicated to making their community a better place, while excelling in their professional attributes, The Spirited Women of Baltimore Awards inspire others to seek within themselves and donate their time, talent and treasure as well,” said Monyka Berrocosa, founder/CCO of MyCity4Her.com.
The awards will be presented in four main categories to Baltimore area residents:
- Baltimore’s Spirited Woman Rising Awards will honor several up-and-coming women, ages 21-35, who are starting to make their powerful mark on the Baltimore community and/or the business world. - Baltimore’s Spirited Woman in Balance Award will honor a working mother who is employed full-time and successfully juggling all family and career, while engaging in spirited endeavors such as community service, mentorship and philanthropy.
- Baltimore’s Spirited Woman in Business Awards will honor female business owners who have successfully used their company’s success and industry leadership to contribute to the community as a thought leader, provide excellence in community service, mentorship and philanthropy to significantly positively impact the region.
- The 2013 Spirited Woman of Baltimore Award will honor an incredibly accomplished woman in the prime of her life who acts as an example, leader and mentor in her community and profession and has done so for some time.
