May 21, 2013

Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson has been arrested on domestic violence charges after head butting his wife Evelyn Lozado after she confronted the NFL player about a mysterious condom receipt she had found according to Tuesday, May 21 reports from Softpedia News.

Ochoicinco reportedly became very agitated after his wife Evelyn Lozado began question his faithfulness after she had found a receipt for the purchase of condoms inside his trunk.

Johnson became so angry that he attacked his wife head butting her and leaving her with about a 3″inch cut across her forehead.

Ochocinco’s arresting officer, Christopher Epps stated,

“Based off the statements given to me, [redacted] injuries and my observations, I placed Johnson under arrest charging him with Simple Battery Domestic.”

The police report details Lozado with her face covered in blood running from Ochocinco to a neighbor’s home to seek assistance during the attack.

Evelyn Lozado was recently featured on the reality series “Basketball Wives” and was previously engaged to Antoine Walker.

The couple married last July was set to star on VH1’s reality show “Ev and Ocho.”

“I don’t give a [expletive]! I don’t give a [expletive] about my career!” Johnson allegedly shouted after attacking her.

Johnson was arrested on Monday morning by a Broward County judge and later released after posting $1,000 bail according to the Huffington Post.

Another hearing was set for June 3. An arrest warrant was issued earlier this month when Johnson failed to meet his probation officer.

During his arrest Ochocinco stated to police officers that he was the one being attacked by Evelyn Lozado when he was arrested.
