Last night, usedview.com was on the red carpet for the iHeartRadio Ultimate Pool Party at Fontainebleau in Miami. The two-day musical weekend in Miami on June 28-29 was part of the Fontainebleau’s BleauLive concert series. The epic concert was presented by Visit Florida. Co-Hosted by LL Cool J, Jason Derulo and Miley Cyrus, the event featured performances by Pitbull, Ke$ha, Afrojack, Jason Derulo, Icona Pop and Krewella. Enrique Iglesias also made an appearance as well. The weekend featured live poolside sets by DJ Prostyle, DJ Skee and DJ Obscene. Other guests in attendance included Audrina Patridge, Alyssa Campanella, Torrance Coombs, Charles Michael Davis, Robbie Amell, Scott Disick, Russell Okung (NFL – Seattle Seahawks), and Chuy from “Chelsea Lately,” to name a few. Near the red carpet the stars participated in portraits and meet and greets with contest winners.
We caught up with the hot new band Krewella on the red carpet. Who isn’t obsessed with “Alive”? Krewella debuted their new single, “Live for the Night” for the first time ever to end their set.
Jahan Yousaf: It was so much fun to be here. Pool parties are one of our favorites to play. It was a really diverse crowd.
Yasmine Yousaf: We have not slept in about three days. We are going to decide in the moment whether to pass out and be grannies or go out and party. The Icona Pop girls are the sweetest. We have done a few shows together and you just make good friends. Miami when we play shows Fontainebleau is where we end up partying.
We also spoke with Icona Pop, the band behind the infectious “I Love It.”
Aino Jawo: I am so excited about tonight. We are drinking a lot of coffee right now to stay awake since we have been on the go.
Caroline Hjelt: I think it is going to be wild. The artists and the winners together is just exciting. You can feel the vibe. People are not going to go home early.
Thousands of attendees gathered on the gorgeous grassy lawn surrounded by the pools of the hotel and danced the night away. Jason Derulo kicked off the iHeartRadio Ultimate Pool Party and closed out his set by cooling off in the pool with fans.
Ke$ha kept the audience in stitches with her over the top performance. Both men and women were jamming away in the midst of happy giggles at her performance shtik. Male dancers were dressed as women and Ke$ha dressed in her signature look jirated and provocatively flirted with the crowd. Grand Prize winner, Natalie Bergen from Montgomery, New York, was treated to a weekend-long fantasy all-access experience including being ‘Ke$hafied’ by the glitter girl herself. Ke$ha showered her fans with whip cream.
Pitbull electrified his hometown with fan favorites. His usual posse of gorgeous women danced around him as bright lights stimulated the crowd into an enthusiastic dance session as the party came to an end.
The evening performances streamed live for fans on Yahoo! (iheart.yahoo.com) and more than 120 Clear Channel stations nationwide. The exclusive television broadcast of the two day event will air nationally on The CW Network on Monday, July 15, 8-10 pm ET/PT.
