This summer there have been many fabulous film premieres, art parties and celebrity sightings. Below is our list of the best events thus far.
Columbia Pictures with The Cinema Society and Bulova hosted the premiere of “White House Down”.
From the film: director Roland Emmerich, Channing Tatum, Jamie Foxx, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Richard Jenkins, James Woods, Michael Murphy, Garcelle Beauvais, Lance Riddick, Joey King, and Amy Pascal (co-Chairman Sony Pictures Entertainment & Chairman Sony Pictures Entertainment Motion Picture Group) all walked the red carpet. The party was at The Frick Collection and everyone drank grey goose cocktails. OIivier Cheng did the food! Scrumptious highlights included Mini New England lobster roll, Crab cakes, Mini hamburgers with tomato jam, Braised short ribs with celery root puree served in a spoon, ‘Peking duck’ in a moo shu tuile, Truffled grilled cheese sandwich with celery relish, Wild mushroom gruyere tart with herb salad and Jicama and lotus root dumplings.
Dolce & Gabbana and The Cinema Society hosted Epix World Premiere of “Madonna: The MDNA Tour” at Harlow
VIP guests including Madonna, John Travolta, Adam Lambert, Nicky Hilton, and more were treated to special MDNA DeLeón Tequila cocktails, as they celebrated the launch of the documentary debut. After striking a pose for the cameras, Madonna stayed close to her family Lourdes Leon and Rocco Ritchie, who were both their supporting superstar mom. Always in vogue, Madonna’s dancers struck a pose in a dance off while partygoers circled around them on the dance floor and cheered them on. The A-List crowd at the bash partied until 2am.
Montblanc and Urban Arts Partnership presented “The 24 Hour Plays”
At the after party the serious actors let loose celebrating with karaoke, making moves on the dance floor and running around taking fun group photos. The red carpet was packed with all the 24 Hour Plays cast members including the beautiful, new mom Molly Sims who arrived first. Wilmer Valderrama made the rounds making sure to chat with several of his 24 Hour Plays co-stars including Jamie Chung and Jack McBrayer. Notables in attendance included: Melanie Griffith, Jason Biggs, Molly Sims, Anna Camp, John Cho, Jamie Chung, Michael Ealy, Jack McBrayer, Dave and Odette Annable, Ashley Fink, Seth Green, Ian Harding, Wilmer Valderrama, John Hawkes, Gillian Jacobs, Sasha Alexander, Skylar Astin, Samantha Barks, David Krumholtz, Rosie Perez, Lucy Punch, Romy Rosemont, Hannah Simone, Alia Shawkat, Eddie Kaye Thomas and Tracie Thoms.
Jägermeister presented a New York special screening of Millennium’s “Killing Season.”
From the film: John Travolta, Elizabeth Olin and director Mark Steven Johnson were joined by additional guests Rachel Antonoff (fashion designer), Prince Lorenzo Borghese, Ty Hickson, Keenyah Hill, James Lipton, Theophilus London and more. There was a giant pull-up banner of Jägermeister on the carpet and following the screening, guests made there way over to Jazz Room at The General where they were treated to Jägermeister specialty cocktails including Thrill of the Hunt, 12 Point Buck and The Trophy Smash. There was also a tray passer handing out shots.

On Monday July 1, men’s digital newsletter InsideHook hosted Alec Baldwin’s curated exhibit of rock and roll photography with Rock Paper Photo. A very pregnant Hilaria was there by his side and the two spent the night laughing and hanging out with friends. Alec is a huge classic rock fan, which is why he decided to create this exhibit. The photos were chosen from Rock Paper Photo’s extensive archive of music photography.

“The Internship” star Josh Gad attends his LA Premiere
“The Internship” star Josh Gad cleans up nicely. AXE Hair gave him a makeover for the L.A. premiere on May 30. “Axe hair decided to team up with me and give me a nice clean-cut Jon Hamm look for the premiere with this product that they call Axe Clean-Cut Look Pomeade. Like a chubby Jon Hamm. A Jon Hamm who doesn’t smoke and isn’t nearly as attractive as Jon Hamm,” Gad told OK! Magazine exclusively.
Private dinner with TASSIMO and Top Chef winner Stephanie Izard
On Thursday June 13, industry influencers and tastemakers came together to kick off the Aspen Food & Wine Classic with a private dinner with TASSIMO and Top Chef winner Stephanie Izard at the TASSIMO House (908 West Francis Street). Partygoers were treated to a “Campfire Cookout” with hors d’oeuvres and Tassimo-inspired cocktails with a live band entertaining throughout the night. Each eclectic dish was designed and plated by Top Izard herself with highlights including Fried Oysters with Remoulade, Eggplant Tomatillo Caponata, Lamb Tartare and Kalbi Beef Short Ribs. Notable guests such including renowned chef Michel Nishan were also in attendance indulging in some of the finest Tassimo coffee-inspired cocktails to celebrate the Classic.
Vincent Piazza celebrates his Philadelphia Style magazine cover
On Friday, June 28, Philadelphia Style magazine cover star Vincent Piazza celebrated his cover of their Atlantic City Issue at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa’s MIXX – The Nightclub. Guests toasted to the summer season in 1920s fashion with Piazza, who plays real-life gangster Charles “Lucky” Luciano on the HBO television hit-series, Boardwalk Empire.
Diddy hosted the sbe XIV Hip Hop Sessions Pre-BET Party
Held at The Colony this past weekend, The Ciroc vodka was flowing as Diddy partied at his table with some of the top musicians in the hip-hop industry including friends Jermaine Dupri, The Game and his former assistant Fonzworth Bentley, Fabolous, Busta Rhymes, Young Jeezy and Hit-Boy.
The next evening, after winning the “Fandemonium Award” and a successful performance at the 2013 BET Awards, Chris Brown continued the festivities at The Official “Party After” event at The Belasco Theater in Downtown Los Angeles. Brown is the Creative Director for ZING Vodka. Friends like Nick Cannon, Tyson Beckford and rapper Problem also attended to show their support.
Nick Cannon kicked off BET weekend at sbe’s Hyde Lounge in Los Angeles on Friday June 28, arriving ready to DJ at the glitterati hotspot in his signature white suit and black bow tie.
Rose Byrne attends DKNY party in Montauk
On Saturday, June 29, stylist Jeanann Williams hosted the #DKNYARTWORKS charity auction to benefit Free Arts NYC. Guests enjoyed DJ sets by Mia Moretti and Tanlines and sipped specialty cocktails by SVEDKA Vodka, water by FIJI and bites by South Edison. Stylist Jeanann Williams looked chic wearing DKNY, actress Rose Byrne wore DKNY, her boyfriend/actor Bobby Cannavale was i attendance as well.
Susan Sarandon celebrates SPiN’s first ever pop-up location in East Hampton
SPiN Co-founder Susan Sarandon was spotted at c/o The Maidstone in East Hampton on Sunday June 30, to celebrate their ping pong table joining The Maidstone garden. Also, in attendance was SPiN co-founder Jonathan Bricklin. The table will be available to guests all summer.
Procter & Gamble pop-up in NYC
