Bob Gannon has provided us with photos he took of Sunday night’s second Paul McCartney concert in Orlando. Orlando was the U.S. debut for his Out There! Tour.
As we reported, there were two song changes made to the setlist, but otherwise it remained the same. You can see details in our previous story.
One fan was quite excited after the show. “OMG OMG @PaulMcCartney saw my sign and blew me a kiss!!!!! I’m done!!,” she posted on Twitter. And the Twitter account for the venue, the Amway Center, expressed its thanks to McCartney. “So proud to have @PaulMcCartney kick off his North American tour over two nights with us and our amazing guests.”
McCartney’s website on Saturday posted a collection of photos from the tour’s shows in Brazil. Stuart Bell, in his latest blog on the site, said McCartney paid tribute to a group of fans who had petitioned him to play Belo Horizonte during the tour’s first show by inviting them onstage and signing one of the fan’s Beatles tattoo.
The tour’s next stop is Austin, Texas, and the Frank Erwin Center for two shows Wednesday and Thursday.
(Thanks to Bob Gannon for the photos.)
