The Tribute shows are as follows:
May 31 – June 1
The Rising – Bruce Springsteen Tribute Band The Rising is a true tribute, sharing so many qualities with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, it’s easy to forget it’s not “The Boss” on stage. The Rising is a brotherhood of friends with ties that date back nearly two decades. They were cut from worn denim of blue-collar towns, and paid musical dues playing dive bars, and juke joints. And like Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, The Rising takes the stage more like a gang than a band; they roll up their sleeves and go to work, night after night performing favorites that span five decades of Springsteen’s career including “Born in the USA,” “Born to Run,” “Thunder Road” and “Dancing in the Dark.” The Rising delivers each song with the same power, heart and soul as Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
The Long Run – Experience The Eagles
With seven number-one singles, six Grammys, five American Music Awards and six number one albums, the Eagles were one of the most successful and best-selling musical acts of all time. Tribute band, The Long Run, whose name derives from The Eagles’ 1979 album, successfully blends the classic Eagles sound, vocal harmonies and rich instrumental arrangements into their own live performance style. The Long Run will recreate many of The Eagles’ chart-topping hits, including “Desperado,” “Take It Easy” and “Hotel California.”
Strange Days – A Tribute to The Doors
Get ready to relive the 60s when Strange Days, the critically acclaimed Doors tribute show, brings their live act to the Casino Arizona Showroom. Formed in 1965, The Doors were considered one of the most controversial rock acts of its time due to lead singer, Jim Morrison’s wild lyrics and impulsive stage antics. Strange Days will recreate the sound, stage presence and performances of The Doors to give fans an authentic concert experience. Songs to be performed include “Light My Fire,” “Touch Me” and “Riders On The Storm.”
Kissmania – A Tribute to Kiss
Grammy-nominated rock band, Kiss is a hard act to follow and even more difficult to emulate. Yet, tribute group Kissmania makes it look easy. Going beyond the face paint and daring stage outfits, Kissmania recreatesthe biggest and best hits of Kiss’ 35-year career with the same vocal talents and arena-sized energy of the originals. Hear fan favorites like “Detroit Rock City,” “Rock and Roll All Night” and “Beth” when Kissmania takes the Showroom stage this summer.
The Petty Breakers – Celebrate Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers
Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers are one of music’s great American bands. They are the recipients of numerous Grammy Awards, a Billboard Century Award and they have even received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Currently on tour, fans that are not able to grab a ticket to their 2013 North American tour will find the next best thing at Casino Arizona. Acclaimed tribute band, The Petty Breakers are admired for their ability to recreate the entire experience of a Tom Petty concert with the same vocal ability and instrumental skills as The Heartbreaker’s themselves. The band will perform a variety of hits, including “American Girl,” “Free Fallin’” and “Runnin’ Down a Dream.”
Casino Arizona is located in Scottsdale at the Loop 101 Freeway and McKellips Rd.
