“Pretty Little Liars” season 4 is almost here and fans of the Rosewood girls cannot wait. During the season break, there have been a lot of speculation as well as hints by the actresses. On May 29, On the Red Carpet published a conversation they had with Janel Parrish, who plays Mona on the show.
Warning: If you do not want to know “Pretty Little Liars” season 4 spoilers, teasers, hints or speculation, then stop reading.
Fans will find out on the upcoming season who “Red Coat” is and what is in Wilden’s trunk (which many are assuming is a body.” Janel Parrish said,
“You will find out what or who is in the trunk and, as the season unfolds, you will find out who red coat is. It’s going to be shocking.”
Could it be that “Red Coat” and what is in Wilden’s trunk could be people we have seen before… perhaps they are close to the Liars? Nothing could be more shocking than that!
Luckily fans won’t have to wait long to find out about the contents of the trunk. It is going to be revealed in the very first episode.
Also, Aria is going to try to move on after her break up with Fitz, but it won’t be that easy since he is teaching at her school once again. Now there is no way for her to avoid him, which will make her heart break even more. As fans know, she really didn’t want to end things with him, but she felt she needed to because he was so focused on his son. While that is understandable, his ex always seemed to be having some sort of crisis. Some of those issues were caused by his own mother. She has always disapproved of Aria being with her son. However, fans loved the two of them together.
Even though Parrish said that his ex is not going away anytime soon, fans are hoping that he will end up back in Aria’s arms.
The actress who plays Mona also revealed that there are going to be some hotties coming to Rosewood, which will put smiles on their faces. Maybe viewers will see some new romances! All that is known right now is that Wyatt Nash from “Hollywood Heights” has been cast as Nigel and is seen with Jenna at a funeral.
It was revealed a while back that Sean Faris of “Vampire Diaries” and “Leverage” has been cast as state police trooper Gabriel Holbrook and will make his first appearance on the season premiere.
The spin-off show, “Ravenswood,” will have a few crossover characters. Janel said,
“It’s coming out in October and it’s going to be Tyler Blackburn, who plays Caleb. It’s going to be his show and we’re all very, very excited about it. I do know that our Halloween episode is going to be the start of ‘Ravenswood’ so a lot of our characters will be going to Ravenswood to visit and that’ll start Caleb’s story of Ravenswood. So, yeah there will definitely be a few crossovers.”
“It will affect ‘Pretty Little Liars’ because, obviously, Caleb has to end up in this new town and in the Halloween episode, fans will see what happens.”
Mona will be joining Aria, Spencer, Aria and Emily even though they don’t trust Janel’s character. By doing so, they hope to find out who the new “A” is.
The actress also spoke about the season 3 finale. She said,
“I think the most shocking scenario of season 3 for Mona is finding out that this entire time she was not in fact in charge and she has no idea who this person is that she’s apparently been working for. She was used as a puppet and she thought that she was the puppet master. When I read the script, I was like, ‘Wait, what? I don’t know anything and I thought I knew everything and now I don’t know anything at all.’ And as an actress, even, I had no idea what was going on. I think that was probably the biggest shocker.”
“Pretty Little Liars” season 4 premieres on June 11 on ABC.
