“The Real Housewives of New York” star Kelly Bensimon left the show after the fourth season because the producers didn’t think that she added too much to the show. She was fired alongside several housewives, including Alex McCord and Jill Zarin. However, Kelly had a troubling third season, as she had her infamous breakdown in St. John while traveling with the other women, including Bethenny Frankel. Bethenny and Kelly never really got along. It sounds like Kelly has changed after leaving the show, as she has gone back to school. And part of that career change includes being more on LinkedIn rather than Facebook. According to a new tweet released on May 31, “The Real Housewives of New York” star Kelly Bensimon is now revealing that she isn’t too thrilled about using Facebook, because she finds it hurtful.
“I’m kinda obsessed with #linkedin. I love seeing who’s doing what. Facebook hurts those who you loved or love. :)” Kelly tweeted this morning as she was getting ready for her day. Over the past couple of months, Kelly has been tweeting updates about her life, including her decision to study accounting and finance. “Just finished my #finance exam while surrounded by and navigating dogs getting sick & teens hurt by bullying. #mba,” Kelly tweeted just a couple of days ago.
It sounds like Kelly is liking the professionalism of LinkedIn more, since she has started her career change. She is going from modeling and socializing to being an accountant. And it sounds like she is leaving the drama of “The Real Housewives of New York” and Facebook behind. Do you think she is right about how Facebook affects loved ones?
