No doubt Sarah Chalke and Seth Rogen are frequently called cards due to the various antics each displays on the big and small screens. Now, in addition to doing what these funny thespians do best, the two chuckle-worthy Canadians can also lay claim to being greeting card authors thanks to the debut of a new line of Treat’s customizable online cards.
According to a Treat press release dated July 30, Chalke and Rogen gave their all in the form of their own take on birthday cards via jokes, anecdotes, and other forms of personal sentiment. Another plus with the new Celebrity Birthday Card Collection from Treat is that the fresh and fun ephemera can be tweaked by the purchaser in order to provide his or her own personal touch.
While getting ready to debut the new cards, Sarah Chalke talked about her own birthdays of yore with Treat, explaining which birthday was her worst and which was her best thus far in the 36-year-old’s lively life.
Chalke confessed that her worst was “when [her] flight connection was cancelled and [she] was stuck in an airport for [the entire] 24 hours…”
As for her best?
Well, that would be Sarah’s sweet 16. According to the “Scrubs” actress, her mom and dad let about two dozen friends “paint art all over [her] room” in celebration of that special day.
This year, Sarah Chalke will likely enable a number of fans to have their best birthdays ever thanks to the designs and messages she delivers via the Treat site. In turn, Treat made a donation to Sarah’s favorite charity, the Kawasaki Disease Foundation.
In Seth Rogen’s case, the charity to which this member of the Shutterfly family donated in his name was Hilarity 4 Charity. The annual event raises awareness about Alzheimer’s as well as provides money to the families who have been impacted by the disease, to help support groups get up and get going, and to allow for aggressive research regarding Alzheimer’s.
As for the new Treat products that come from both Chalke and Rogen, the company’s card expert Melissa Moody comments, “At Treat, we know there are many ways to say ‘Happy Birthday’ and we adore Seth and Sarah’s signature wit in this exclusive line of birthday cards.”
Moody applauds Rogen’s humor as “tongue-in-cheek” while she dubs Sarah’s special way of making a person smile “playful.” She adds that “…in Treat’s Celebrity Birthday Card Collection, customers can create truly unique birthday cards for friends and family with photos and personal notes that will be cherished.”
To say this comedian-driven Sarah Chalke and Seth Rogen project for Treat is in the cards may be overstating the obvious, but so be it. With that said, enjoy this creative way to enjoy the artistry of these two characters from Canada through the pair’s unique line of specialty Treat products.
As of July 30, Treat’s Celebrity Birthday Card Collection can be found online and also via the celebratory company’s iTunes app for iPhone.
