There is still time to participate in the annual event called “Make Someone Smile Week” by Teleflora. And you don’t have to pay the flower delivery service in order to get in on the fun.
According to a July 25 report from KMOT TV, only the flower shops affiliated with the national flower delivery service can provide customers with the bright yellow “Be Happy” mug they are filling with yellow and white daisies.
But anyone can choose to purchase or give a flower arrangement to someone they know who needs a smile this week, regardless of whether they follow the Teleflora campaign or pick up some flowers at their local florist.
Some people are getting the flowers and bright mugs for free, like residents in nursing homes and patients in hospitals around the country. Teleflora provides the mugs for free to their affiliated florist shops in each state and city. And the florists, in turn, provide the free flowers and the delivery to deserving recipients, like Meals On Wheels clients.
If you want to take advantage of the floral arrangements of yellow and white daisies being featured in the brightly colored yellow “Be Happy Mugs,” then you will need to contact a participating florist in your area to make the purchase.
In Georgia there are at least 12 flower companies affiliated with the national “Make Someone Smile Week” event, and they are ready and willing to help you make someone smile this week with a bouquet of fresh flowers.
In Blairsville it is the Rest Haven Florist company. And The Flower Basket in Brunswick is reminding their customers that you can really make a bride happy if you will pay for her wedding arrangements, which can include a wedding cake with flowers and a be happy mug as well.
The L&D Florist in Cornelia is willing to give their bridal customers a free throw bouquet when they book their wedding with them and mention seeing them on theknot. But Be Happy Mugs can be purchased too, of course.
The Duluth Flower Shop and Jasper’s Artistic Designs and Gifts are two more Georgia florists using Teleflora services.
Martinez, Morrow, Peachtree City, and Savannah all have shops where customers in their city can stop in and purchase a mug of yellow and white daisies for someone today.
In keeping with the annual event, Snellville’s A Daisy A Day is even appropriately named. And with the word daisy in their title, you can bet that they a lot more than just yellow and white versions to choose from; however, those two colors are the only options with the mugs from Teleflora this week.
In Thomson it is Richard’s Flower & Gift Shop you want to seek out for that happy little mug with brightly colored flowers. And in Tucker, Georgia, it only takes one thing to make flower lovers smile, even if they don’t want the be happy mug: A BoKay By Jo Ann.
