New moms and even moms who are expecting their second or even third baby are always looking for new information about how to take care of their babies. There are many communities that offer a wealth of workshops and fun activities for expectant moms that are both fun and informative. Sarasota is fortunate to have several organizations that conduct workshops for new parents and parents who just want the latest information for taking care of newborns and infants.
Workshops that help new moms connect with other new moms are always fun. New moms sometimes feel isolated from other adults when spouses are at work and they are at home with a new baby. Workshops solve the problem of a feeling of isolation.
Topics range from how to choose a carseat or carrier to the newest ways to breastfeed your newborn. Moms, expectant, moms and dads, grandparents, and other caregivers are welcome to attend these workshops.
Summer workshops from the organizations in the list this week are free, with one having a minimal charge. Check out the June list for parenting workshops in Sarasota designed specifically for expectant moms and new moms and dads.
