Masahiro Sakurai has provided some commentary in regards to the third-party characters support for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U video game, “Super Smash Bros. 4.” According to a report from IGN on June 14, the game director disclosed that the crossover fighting game will still focus of first-party mascots. A dozen characters have been confirmed so far for “Super Smash Bros. 4,” including three newcomers. Mega Man is the only third-party guest for the sequel at the moment. The previous title, “Super Smash Bros. Brawl,” included Solid Snake and Sonic the Hedgehog. Nintendo is projected to launch “Super Smash Bros. 4” for the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U in North America next year.
