Masahiro Sakurai has provided some commentary in regards to the potential roster differences between the Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions of the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Super Smash Bros. 4.” According to a report by Nintendo Life on June 21, the game director mentioned both iterations will include the same playable characters. He then went on to explain that it would be “rough for consumers” if one version gets exclusive characters over the other. Although “Super Smash Bros. 4” has the same character roster on both platforms, the Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS will be offering different set of stages. Masahiro Sakurai is leading the development of the sequel, which is being handled by the Sora and Namco Bandai Games studios.
