Masahiro Sakurai has provided some comments in regards to the potential cross-save compatibility feature for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U video game, “Super Smash Bros. 4.” According to a report by the NeoGAF forum on June 26, the game director revealed that the console and portable versions of the crossover fighting game will feature two different save files. However, he did mention that several character data can be transferred from one system to another. Although “Super Smash Bros. 4” will contain the same characters on the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U, the two versions feature dissimilar visual styles in addition to having different stages. The sequel is expected to come out next year.
