50 Restaurants, Hundreds of wines, One Incredible Evening!
Get ready for the Big One! Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation South Florida. Recognized as one of THE premier culinary events of the area, the much acclaimed Taste of The Nation now has been renamed Taste of the Nation South Florida, to more accurately reflect its multi-county draw.
This year’s Taste promises to be bigger and better than ever, with more than 50 restaurants from both Dade and Broward counties, along with a multitude of fine wines and spirits, plus an impressive array of auction items, live entertainment, and more. It all happens Thursday, July 25, 2013, 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., at the luxurious Loews Miami Beach Hotel.
And the best part, it all goes to benefit a very worthy cause — Share Our Strength, the country’s leading anti-hunger organization. Proceeds from the event go to helping SOS’s valid efforts to end childhood hunger across America.
“For the past 25 years Share Our Strength hosted two events in the region, Taste of the Nation Dade and Taste of the Nation Broward. Now Taste of the Nation supporters will be able to enjoy the best food and wine offerings from both counties at a larger event, for the price of one ticket,” notes Jamie Balhon, Southeast Regional Manager of Share Our Strength’s culinary events.
Heading this year’s restaurant participants is Restaurant Chair, Chef Timon Baloo, of SUGARCANE Raw Bar Grill, who proudly notes, “This year’s event is creating a lot of excitement. Taste of the Nation South Florida is providing a much stronger platform for sponsors and is already generating a larger group of participating restaurants.” And what a lineup it will be!
