People were going crazy Monday night over ABC’s “The Bachelorette 2013” with Desiree Hartsock. Though there had been “The Bachelorette” spoilers out for months about the ending, some viewers thought part 1 of the finale threw that all down the toilet. However, Reality Steve stands behind his spoilers, and he addressed the buzz via his blog on July 30.
Reality Steve has said since before the season started that Desiree and Brooks get engaged in the finale this season. Obviously watching Brooks Forester leave Monday night led many to believe he is gone for good and Desiree Hartsock ends up alone. Others, however, know there are still two more hours of the show left, and “The Bachelorette” spoilers leave room for Brooks to return. ABC has, of course, left things mysteriously wide open for this to happen.
Regardless of the fact Twitter went a bit crazy on him Monday, Steve stands by his spoilers that Desiree and Brooks get engaged at the final rose ceremony. Just how does it all go down? He admits he’s not sure, though the path is probably not all that complicated. At one point or another, Brooks Forester realizes he made a mistake and he returns to propose to Desiree. This could be a bit reminiscent of Reid Rosenthal returning for Jillian Harris, albeit with different results.
What is the order of how things progress in the Aug. 5 finale? Surely the episode will open with Desiree Hartsock talking with Chris Harrison and contemplating going home. Beyond that it’s anybody’s guess until ABC dishes out new “The Bachelorette” spoilers. It seems likely, however, that Drew Kenney is sent home soon, probably via an individual talk with Desiree where she admits she doesn’t see a future with him.
“The Bachelorette” spoilers have indicated Chris Siegfried proposes at the final rose ceremony, but there’s no word yet on exactly what dates happen or who meets Desiree’s family. There have been signs that two men meet her family, but there is absolutely no word as of yet regarding when Brooks Forester returns, if he indeed does.
As Reality Steve points out, Desiree Hartsock getting engaged to either Drew or Chris after what she said in Monday’s show simply won’t be believable. There are plenty of “The Bachelorette” spoilers indicating she does get engaged, and Brooks Forester returning really is the only viable possibility. Only one thing seems certain at this point: viewers will be tuning in to see what happens.
ABC’s “The Bachelorette 2013” finale showing Desiree Hartsock’s fate airs Monday, Aug. 5 in a three-hour block with a live “After the Final Rose” special. How do you think it all ends this season?
