On yesterday’s episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful,” in what had to be one of the quickest paternity reveals in soap opera history, Bill Spencer checked Wyatt out and admitted he didn’t see it. Wyatt was not impressed with this guy who was supposed to be his father. He was furious that Bill tossed money at his mother when she got pregnant and went on with merry life. Bill told Wyatt that Quinn had been working her way through school and she was simply too young to have a child.
The rather painful conversation continued and Bill recalled Quinn telling him about his son. He was used to dealing with people who wanted money and that’s what he believed Quinn wanted. Wyatt asked if Bill was really his father and Quinn had no choice but to admit he was. Wyatt was clueless as to how all this happened.
Quinn likened it to Wyatt’s experience meeting Hope. She said Bill entered this jewelry store she was working at and wanted to buy something for the most beautiful woman in the city. He told Quinn that woman was her and she was intrigued. She said she had never known anyone who had been born with everything. She said those kinds of people never had to work for things or ask for things. She said being involved with a person like that can generate some confusing feelings. She became caught up and confused some of her feelings for strength, charm and even love.
Bill had been under the impression that Quinn aborted the child because he had given her money for that purpose. Instead, Quinn had the baby and used the money for rent. She didn’t feel obligated to tell Bill because he had a plane ticket back to New York at the time. Wyatt wondered why Bill never called his mother to see how she made out with the abortion. He was also furious at Quinn for telling him his father had died. He felt she never gave him the chance to decide whether or not he wanted his father in his life. Quinn admitted she didn’t want him to be the kind of guy Bill Spencer was. Wyatt insisted that would have been his decision to make.
Bill tried to reason with Wyatt telling him that he and his mother had made some mistakes along the way. He said Wyatt would most likely make a few of his as well. Wyatt made a crack about the dog eating Bill’s homework and got in his truck and took off. A devastated Quinn couldn’t do anything to stop him.
Liam and Hope shared a table at the restaurant and Liam had some issues with Hope’s involvement with Wyatt. He found it strange that as soon as Hope got to know this guy, a chance surfaced that he could be a Spencer. Liam believed Hope should have given him a “heads up” on this one. Hope said she didn’t want to put that idea in his head. Liam pointed out that she did put the idea in Wyatt’s head. Initially, Hope said she didn’t do that, but then admitted it was exactly what she did.
Liam added he used to want a brother when he was younger, but he felt he didn’t really need one now. Hope went off on how much family matters to her and she stated if Wyatt turned out to be Liam’s brother, she would want to get to know him. It would be interesting to hear Steffy’s take on Hope’s sense of family, right? Liam thought his father should have been back to the table by now, so he went off to investigate what was going on. Liam left his credit card to pay the bill and wondered why his father had to drink the priciest scotch available. Hope said Bill never settled for anything but the best. She said she didn’t either and told Liam he was the best.
Back at Forrester Creations, the comic relief at the reception desk kicked off with another bickering session between Donna and Pam. They had paged Rick to advise him on whether to date Caroline or Pam. A confused Rick walked up to the reception desk wondering what they wanted. He discovered Donna thought he should be with the sophisticated, worldly Caroline and Pam thought he should be with Maya. Rick didn’t have time for this and told them he was returning to his office and wouldn’t be responding to future pages. Pam convinced him to listen to a brilliant idea she had, and it wasn’t half bad!
Pam thought everything was about product placement these days, and she thought since Maya was in this hot new Web series, she should be wearing Forrester Designs. Donna didn’t like the idea of course, but Rick found it interesting. He announced he would be talking to the show’s producers about that.
Speaking of the Web Series, back at the studio, Maya had spotted Caroline, and she was convinced that Caroline was behind the sleaziness in the scenes she and Carter had been acting out. Maya was surprised Rafael wasn’t on the level, but he said he had tried to protect his actors and mentioned that Caroline’s family had more money than God. Caroline admitted to rewriting a couple of scenes but accused Maya of having a guilty conscience. Maya didn’t get why Caroline thought she would feel guilty. Caroline pointed out that all those scenes were on video.
Maya and Caroline continued to exchange digs and Rafael decided to return to his original script and wanted to use the guinea pigs again. One was missing. Rafael told a stunned Caroline she was fired. He apologized to Maya and Carter for failing to make something good for everyone. Carter was grateful for the footage he had from his portfolio and Maya worried about getting paid. Rafael insisted they would be paid but noted he would be broke again.
Rick entered and the missing guinea pig decided to take a stroll. A freaked out Caroline jumped on top of the water bed in her stilettos and punctured the lining. She was instantly soaked by a fountain of water. Rafael tossed her a towel and Rick informed her she had tested his relationship with Maya, and his relationship won. Caroline insisted she loved Rick and claimed that love made a person act crazy. She also stated there was something going on between Carter and Maya. Rick told Caroline he didn’t know what to think of her anymore. Caroline walked off and Rick hugged Maya.

Also, on today’s episode in this B&B video preview, Wyatt confronts Bill who tells him he’s not alone. Wyatt accuses Bill of tossing money at a girl while not even caring about the child she was carrying. Elsewhere, Quinn has words for Hope and none of them are pretty.
