John A. Elardo Esq. is a practicing attorney at a law firm in Phoenix, Arizona. This firm is Elardo Bragg Appel and Rossi P.C. Elardo passed the bar in both the State of Arizona and the Arizona District Court in 1993. Prior to the 2012 joining of The Elardo Law Firm, P.C. and Appel Law Office, P.L.L.C. to form Elardo, Bragg, Appel & Rossi, P.C. , he had his own private practice, as did Appel. When the two partnered, they welcomed Bragg and Rossi.
Elardo has appeared in more than 75 jury cases and numerous cases in the Court of Appeals. Some of his better known Appeals cases include Cox v. May Department Stores (a 1995 case in which a husband and wife filed suit against a department store and elevator company after the woman’s jacket got stuck in an escalator, causing her injury), Johnson v. Elson (a 1998 case concerning a car accident), Drucker v. Greater Phoenix Transportation (a 1999 case concerning an injury that Drucker incurred while driving a taxicab leased by Greater Phoenix), and Western Corrections, Inc. v. Tierney (a 2004 case regarding an agreement dating back to 1996). Elardo’s most recent case dates to the end of April 2013.
Elardo was successful in defending against a $32 million security fraud case. But defense law is not his only area of expertise. Elardo acted as prosecutor in a multi-million dollar case against the state of California. He also amassed a total of $33 million when prosecuting in a RICO/fraud case. Elardo’s awards and honors are numerous. In 2008 he was recognized for winning a case with one of the top 10 largest verdicts. In 2010 Elardo was selected as one of “Arizona’s Finest Lawyers”.
