“Holy, Holy, Holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of His glory.”- Isaiah 6:3b
One of my favorite things to do this time of year is to watch the corn give praise and worship to the King of Glory. I enjoy sipping on my espresso, in the coolness of the early morning, in full view of witnessing the corn testify as it sways to and fro in the flow of the wind brought forth by God’s Holy Spirit. My house is hedged in, on all sides, by cornfields which sing songs of rejoicing unto the Creator. I am surrounded by the Glory of God, and I can’t help but to join in with the congregation of corn and offer up the greatest praise and worship that I can give back to My Creator, Who has given His very best, Himself, to me.
I testify, along with the psalmist King David, that “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge” (Psalm 19:1-1). I come into agreement with the testimony of Psalm 24, as it sings up from the earth to the throne-room of Heaven: “The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein.”
This is the day, my brothers and sisters, that the Lord has made! So let us rejoice this day and every day and be glad in it! (Psalm 118:24). To God be the Glory!
Father, thank You for your Glory! Thank You for giving us the gift of praise and worship, which we offer back to You as Thanksgiving for blessing us with Yourself. We march boldly through your gates in perfect step with Psalm 24, as we sing in agreement: “Lift up your heads, O you gates; even lift them up, you everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.” Help us, Holy God, by Your Most Holy Spirit, to praise You in greater measure and with all of our being. In Jesus Name, we thank You that we give You all the glory, all the honor, and all the praise each and every day! Amen and Amen!
Take action! Challenge your thinking! Choose to receive each day as the Lord’s gift to you, and to rejoice daily in His presence. Develop a heart and life of gratitude through constantly giving praise, and offering worship unto your Creator. Allow yourself to become completely consumed by God’s Holy Spirit; thus becoming a vessel of praise and worship unto the Lord. And continue to fight the good fight of not holding back what the Lord has done for you; for God, your Divine Overflow, has already given you the victory!
If you have never received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, I encourage you to do it today, right now, by saying this prayer out loud: “Jesus, forgive me for my sins. I am sorry. I truly desire to be saved and reconciled back to God, my Father, through You. I receive Your sinless Blood as payment in full for my sins—past, present, and future. I now call You my Lord and Savior, and invite You to live within my heart, and to permanently live within me. I make You Lord over me and over my life from this moment on. Amen.” Congratulations! You are now a child of God, made whole and made new, by the Blood of Jesus Christ!
