Need something to do this Thursday night? Well even if you don’t I highly suggest you make way to Eddie’s Attic for a night of music from The Howlin’ Brothers.
The Nashville trio delves deep into traditional bluegrass music with loads of banjo, fiddle and harmonica, then they put their original stank on it to give it a fresh updated feel. When listening to their latest critically acclaimed record Howl you get the sense that their music is from a bygone era when folks sat around on the front porch picking, grinning and singing along BUT it rocks. The music is upbeat with a bit of an attitude and the louder you play it the better it sounds.
With a successful record under their belt they have been out on tour supporting the new tunes and this is where you need to expose yourself to the Howlin’ Brothers. They deliver one of the finest live shows around that will make it hard for folks to stay seated at Eddie’s Attic. They will be showcasing the new record so I suggest you give Howl a listen to get prepared for the show. Who knows, they may toss in a few surprises for the Atlanta crowd.
So get your weekend kicked off early and make way to Eddie’s Attic for a killer night of tunes. If you miss this one you will be disappointed.
