Cleveland area fashion designer, Diane Linston is an established clothing designer whose designs have been featured in New York Fashion Week and have been sold in stores throughout the United States. While her success spreads beyond Ohio, her career stems from local business related fashion ventures and she continues to expand on her Cleveland area projects.
Linston takes part on the fashion advisory board for the Women Making Moves organization at Cleveland’s art and design college Virginia Marti. She is also often present at social events for organizations like Dress for Success Cleveland and the NAACP mentoring program.
Of her most notable successes, Linston has a design studio located in Maple Heights Ohio, called Styles of Imagination, where her NGU collection is available. NGU, “Never Give Up” was showcased during New York Fashion Week and features ready to wear women’s pieces that have a focus on stylish, body-fitting denim designs. The NGU collection features pieces available in sizes 6 through 28, averaging between $120.00 and $200.00.
“You will notice that N.G.U. Designs, will always have a type of embellishment such as rhinestones, buckles and studs. N.G.U. is not plain or simple; it is high pace fashion for active women who want to be jazzy and sophisticated. And my logo is a clever female fox that winks one eye. That’s a personal character trait from me. The fox represents perseverance because foxes have persistence in their character. They’re clever and they never give up. And that is being foxy!”, Linston explains.
