Season 4 of “The Walking Dead” will not air until October, but tons of spoilers have already been released. On May 30, Wet Paint published another one that reveals there will be some rebuilding of the world.
Executive producer Dave Alpert says that there is a bigger world out there and fans are going to be surprised. He also said,
“We’re not taking the brick off the accelerator. It’s only going to get bigger. It’s only going to get badder. It’ll only get meaner, and it’s going to get bloodier.”
Robert Kirkman revealed that there will be more of rebuilding the world and civilization. There are going to be more survivors and besides the Woodbury residents that Rick brought into the prison, there are probably going to be more out there. How they will meet up is unknown, but it should be interesting to see how they react. Will they be a threat like the Governor? Or will they be good people who are just trying to survive?
Photos on Walking Dead Locations reveal that they are filming near a wooded area. This has led to speculation that they will be out looking for food and supplies. With the Woodbury residents at the prison, there are a lot more people to care for and resources will deplete quickly.
Co-executive producer Denise Huth said that Carl (Chandler Riggs) is changing and Rick is taking notice. Naturally he is worried about his son. Right now, Carl could go back to being good or he could turn into somebody like the Governor. If the latter is true, how will the group deal with that in season 4?
Fans already know that the Governor will be present in season 4 and will remain a threat. He wants revenge, its just a matter of how and when.
As for what the cast thinks about their characters, Norman Reedus said that Daryl knows Rick trusts him and that is something he has never had… people relying on him. If the group is ever in any kind of jeopardy, he will fight to the death.
Melissa McBride admitted that Carol is still discovering herself. In season 1 she was a beaten wife, in season 2 she was desperate to find her daughter, Sophia, only to find later that she had turned into a walker. She had to be put down. In season 3, she was tough, not afraid to deal with anything and even showed her flirtatious side. Who knows what she will be like in season 4?
Emily Kinney, who plays Beth, said that she is going to mature and take on new responsibilities. She is excited to find out what happens with baby Judith.
Scott Wilson said that he has no idea what is in store for Hershel. He joked,
“Maybe Hershel will grow another leg, a couple of them. I don’t know.”
What do you think will happen in season 4 of “The Walking Dead?”
