Lives are about to be altered forever on “The Young and the Restless” as Summer’s true paternity is about to be revealed. Beyond that truth rearing its ugly head, Jack may get hit with a double edged sword when he also learns Phyllis shared a kiss with his son Kyle. No matter what drove Phyllis to this level of seduction, the lip-locking thing won’t sit well with Jack and fans of this character are hoping all this bad news won’t cause the guy to relapse and reconnect with his drug dealer buddies.
The very fragile Summer just coming off the heartbreak of being dumped by Kyle will be forced to digest the fact that it is Jack and not Nick who owns the title of being her biological father. Summer has already been through a sort of hell dealing with her dysfunctional family, but now, it’s a whole new game for this kid who has recently seemed more content with herself and her family than ever.
Nick, Phyllis, Summer and Jack aren’t the only foursome on this show working out issues. On tomorrow’s episode, Lauren and Michael will have reached the 30 day deadline Michael imposed on himself to reach a decision on whether or not he wants to file for divorce. According to this CBS video preview for tomorrow’s episode, an anxious Lauren worries when Michael decides to go to the office. She wants to know what he’s going to do about their relationship. Take a look at their exchange. Regardless of Michael’s decision, Lauren and Michael will be forced to deal with an out of control Fen who will cause his share of agony for the veteran Genoa City couple. When there are kids involved, there is no escaping each other.
Lauren and Michael’s struggles are difficult and Billy and Victoria’s separation remains equally as heartbreaking. In addition, the fact that Sharon could be off her medication is unsettling. Is Sharon seeing dead people? Victor’s predictable battles with Adam continue to cause pain for both parties, and there is no dispute that Adam’s emotional struggle caused by his lingering feelings for Chelsea are more than painful,
Nothing else in Genoa City however, could compare to the nightmare Summer and Jack are about to face next week. Take a look at a portion of Nick’s confession to Summer in this CBS video promo for next week’s episodes. Something indicates these scenes won’t be for the faint of heart.
Don’t miss next week’s episodes of “The Young and the Restless,” and do share your thoughts on the heartbreak that’s about to unfold. Lives will certainly be shattered and the agony is sure to be intense, yet soap opera fans all over the planet know the truth always comes out.
