TNA Wrestling fans got more bad news this week as the wrestling promotion whose Thursday night show ‘IMPACT’, canceled two upcoming live events this week. The two shows which were scheduled to take place on August 23rd in Yakima, Washington and August 24th in Eugene, Oregon are now off the schedule on tnawrestling.com. The company has not announced if the events will be rescheduled and there was no public announcement as to why the events were canceled.

This news comes at a bad time after weeks of negative press for the second place wrestling show which recently let got a several wrestlers including Jesse Sorenson who suffered a severe neck injury during a TNA pay per view event in February of last year.The release of Sorenson was specifically controversial as it was believed after enduring a life-altering injury that’s believed to have ended his in-ring career, that he would a backstage off-camera job with the company for life.
Add to it, the reveal that the company’s risky venture of taking their weekly ‘IMPACT’ show out on on the road earlier the year is a costing the company millions and reportedly is not turning a strong profit for the company.
