“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.” – John 1:1-3
Do you desire to know what God spoke concerning you, which is written in Heaven? Are you ready to walk in the identity, plan, and purpose that God spoke into you before He formed you and before He placed you in your mother’s womb? Then come into agreement with what the Creator of Life spoke concerning you. Draw closer to learn and to hear the language of Heaven.
“Jesus answered, ‘It is written: Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’” – Matthew 4:4
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.” – Galatians 5:22
Do you feel empty inside, my brother? Are you feeling like something is missing in your life, my sister? Then check your fruit. Have you inspected your fruit lately? Would it pass the test? Here is a good way to know: When you get bumped, what comes out of you? Does joy and peace bubble up, or is anger what boils over? Is self-control evident during a mental or emotional “bump,” or does a lack of control take over?
Do love, joy, and kindness rise to the occasion in those situations when a less-than-kind soul has verbally or emotionally accosted you? Or instead, does your cup run over with choice words which tear down rather than building up? Does patience immediately go out of the window when you are traveling on the highway of life, because you give way to irritation when you encounter drivers who may not be able to get around as quickly as you? Where are faithfulness and gentleness to be found when those around you can’t seem to make it work or hold it together?
We all have to work on our fruit, as it is an on-going process. Just when you think you have cultivated some mighty fine fruit, you get bumped in a new way, and a little bit of ugly spills out that you never knew existed in a far-away place inside of you.
Start working on your fruit garden today, and spend some time with God’s Holy Spirit each and every day, tending and cultivating your crop, so when people encounter you, they can’t help but smile and admire the fruit in you.
Purpose in your heart and determine in your mind to walk in the Fruit of the Spirit this day and every day. Plant the seed of the Spirit in the soil of your heart, and let His Fruit spring up and spring forth in you and in your life from this day forward!
Father, thank You for Your Fruit produced by Your Holy Spirit. We call upon You this day to do a fruit work in us from the inside out. In Jesus Name, we thank You that we walk in the mighty harvest of Your Fruit of the Spirit so that others can taste and see how good You are! Amen and Amen!
If you have never received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, I encourage you to do it today, right now, by saying this prayer out loud: “Jesus, forgive me for my sins. I am sorry. I truly desire to be saved and reconciled back to God, my Father, through You. I receive Your sinless Blood as payment in full for my sins—past, present, and future. I now call You my Lord and Savior, and invite You to live within my heart, and to permanently live within me. I make You Lord over me and over my life from this moment on. Amen.” Congratulations! You are now a child of God, made whole and made new, by the Blood of Jesus Christ!
