The summer festival you all wait for every year is fast-ly arriving, the Vans Warped Tour will find it’s home in Pomona, CA at the cities fair grounds once again. This time with one major difference, the summer festival will be held over two days; Thursday, June 20th and Friday, June 21st which is quite different than past years, as Warped Tour is usually only held on one day. This leaves many possibilities for concert goers to check out even more bands than they probably would if the festival was held on a single day.
So, if you’re like myself, it’s usually very hard to determine which bands to check out throughout the day, but thanks to the addition of duel days, I’ve come up with a comprehensive list of nine bands that you should for sure check out over the multiple day, warped holiday. This list of nine bands should help you plan ahead of time and includes some of the best, up-and-coming bands and seasoned warped veterans that the tour has to offer this year.
Once you check out the list, make sure to comment and let me know which band’s you plan on seeing at this year’s Warped Tour.
You can still purchase single day tickets and the conveniently priced multiple day tickets, so if you haven’t purchased your tickets yet, there’s no time like the present.
William Beckett (ex-The Academy Is…)
William Beckett (ex-The Academy Is…) is defiantly an underdog at this year’s Warped Tour, but he has enough energy and material to get the crowd roaring and singing along which will make for a great time and a good cool down from the more rock infused acts.
Beckett spent the majority of last year releasing three EPs that got some pretty good attention for the singer-songwriter. The major tracks from those EPs that you should more than likely know before checking out Beckett’s act, are:
- “Oh, Love!”
- “You Never Give Up”
- “Scarlett (Tokyo)”
- “Stuck In Love (feat. Ryan Ross)”
- “Dear Life”
- “Our Story’s Already Been Told”
If you listen to the recommended tracks above, you should be all set for Beckett’s crowd interactive performance. Also, if you’d rather pick up all three of Beckett’s EPs, you can do so on iTunes.
Make sure to head back here to let me know if you checked out William Beckett and what you thought of his performance.

If you don’t want to be among the few that don’t know the lyrics to any of the band’s tracks, you should probably pick up their debut studio album What Are You So Scared Of? If you pick that album up, you’ll be singing along with vocalist Jenna McDougall in no time.
Make sure to head back here after your Warped Tour experience to let us know if you checked Tonight Alive out and if you enjoyed them.
