Recently during my travels, I was at a location that you would know as being an iconic place in the history of rock music. I took pictures of the place — it’s part of my job — and was dying to get a pic of myself in there . . . but I caught a glimpse of myself in one of the room’s mirrors. Long days and nights, poor diet, dehydration, tugging at my eyes to insert contact lenses, exposure, airlines, no time for myself had led to a look that recalled Rod Stewart’s lyrics, “Just don’t be here in the morning when I wake up.”
So, I passed on the rare opportunity. I had a writer friend with me who wasn’t going to miss the chance, no matter what. She wanted me to take her pic. “Sunglasses!” I barked at her like a drill sargeant. “Wha . . .?” she asked. She was in the same situation, pretty much as I was. I wanted to patch things up for her the best I could — I’m a good friend!
Look, you can’t be yourself behind sunglasses all the time. Besides, in some circumstances, you can really look like a tool. You can’t look good au naturel with dry, crepey eyelids and it’s impossible to apply makeup on them like that.
In the past, the fixes were iffy to non-existent. Who wants to go under the knife for an eyelift? They look horrible — check out your favorite celebrity tabloid — they’re expensive and they’re super risky. Traditional eye creams are problematic, too: they migrate into your eyes, leaving a film or creating puffy, swollen eyes. They don’t work well. They’re too greasy/waxy to apply makeup. They seep onto other parts of your face, adding to little breakouts. Yuck!
So, I was glad to be hosted to try an alternative that actually works: Phytoceane Aquasaphir Eye Contour Cream. The eye contour is normally impossible to treat with cosmetics. . . in fact, many product labels tell you to keep their cosmetic off the contour! Now there is a solution.
I have been using the gel-cream cream for a couple for some time now, twice a day, every day. My eyelids no longer have that dry, itchy, raw look. They feel smooth and naturally moist — but not so much that makeup doesn’t go on absolutely perfectly. No adverse reactions and no skin irritations. Soon, I’ll be taking the selfies again!
This is what the company says about the product:
AquaSaphir is a blue micro-algae extract that diminishes skin’s stress levels, which play a role in premature aging. It has been included in a high-precision formula with instant smoothing and relaxing effects. Lines and wrinkles around the eye contour become less marked, dark circles fade, and the eyes appear younger.
