Y-Not Tri Ever thought you might want to try a triathlon, but weren’t sure you could do it? This race is designed for every athlete. It starts with an open water swim in Parkcenter Pond, then on to a bike course through Southeast Boise and a run along the river. Choose from short or long course. Foothills XC 12K Trail Race If a 5K is just too easy for you, how about a 12K through the foothills, with a 3600 foot ascent? If that sounds like fun, hurry up and register, because it closes on July 31, with no “day of” registration. For more information, click on this link.
Run For Your Life 5K and 10K Presented by New York Life Insurance Company, this 5th annual event is held in memory of Steve Palesch. The Dirty Dash Quickly becoming THE fitness event for men and women alike, the Dirty Dash is a mud run that will leave you filthy and happy as a pig in slop. The course is about five miles. This 6th annual event at Nampa’s Lakeview Park features a dog swim and a 1-mile walk, as well as entertainment, contests, a raffle, and more, and provides funding for the Nampa Dog Park.
