A lot of Bon Temps citizens come to help Arlene in her time of mourning. Even Sookie pops in because apparently despite the fact that Sookie was in fairy world with Ben, she somehow managed to hear Arlene mourning Terry’s loss. It’s nice to see Sookie spending an episode with her Bon Temps friends, although it would have been great if the writers could address the whole glowing sex thing before Sookie goes back to Bon Temps. That being said, Sookie really did need to spend time with friends and get caught up on everything that has been going on. What would have made this storyline better is if Sam actually made it back. Yes, he gets clued in and says he is coming home, but the writers decide instead of having him haul ass back home, he is going to have sex with Nicole in the shower. Sam needs to get back to Bon Temps, and maybe then his storyline will be entertaining enough to watch. Do you agree?
Eric comes to Bill for help. Thankfully, the writers don’t give Billith healing powers. While it would be great to have Nora stick around, things would have been too easy if Bill could cure any ailing vampire. Now Eric and Bill are back to being sort of friends, although who knows if Eric will keep his word seeing as how Bill didn’t save Nora. Bill and Eric’s dynamic has always been great to watch, and hopefully the next episode features the two of them working towards taking down the vampire camp. Now back to Nora. The writers give viewers a flashback that shows how the two of them met. It’s touching, and definitely helps bump up the potential viewer sadness/pain while watching Nora die. The most heartbreaking moment has to be Eric praying to Godric, yes?
Here are some quick thoughts on things happening in the vampire camp. Sarah Newlin is now officially in charge! Granted, it seemed like she was running the show even when Truman was alive, but hopefully the writers will show her making some changes around the camp. Seeing Sarah drunk with power could be fascinating. The Jessica and James chat is alright. There are moments that make it worthwhile, like Jessica talking about how she thought every vampire was a monster. Other than that though, it’s a little boring. It is pretty obvious that their chat is going to lead to sex. Thankfully Jason doesn’t walk in on them doing it. What are your thoughts on everything that is going on in the camp?
