On April 15, 2013, many lives were forever changed because of the Boston Marathon. Towson resident and pre-school teacher Erika Brannock has faced more adversity in the last almost two months than most will face in their entire lives. Erika went with her family to cheer on her mother who was in the race when the bomb went off. Erika was seriously injured. Erika is only 29 years old and her life has been changed in an instant. She has the support of her loving family. The Erika Brannock Fund has been established. You can read more about Erika and the fund by clicking here.
Valley Motors Subaru of Hunt Valley in partnership with Subaru America, Inc. has announced that it will be supporting the Erika Brannock Fund. When the dealership sells a new Subaru from now until the end of June, Valley Motors Subaru of Hunt Valley will donate $100 to the Erika Brannock Fund. The dealership would like to raise at least $10,000 but hopes to surpass this goal. “Erika has been a very meaningful member of our community, one that Valley Motors has been a part of for more than 50 years,” said Charles Fenwick, president of Valley Motors Auto Group. “We felt that it was important to develop a way to give back to the community and show our support for Erika, her family and her students while she is on a road to recovery and we are motivated to hit our goal of $10,000 by the end of June.” If you would like to donate to the fund directly online through the dealership, please click here.
