In a video posted to YouTube on Monday, author and activist Mark Dice persuaded a number of California beach-goers to sign a petition to repeal the Bill of Rights in order to help Barack Obama, The Blaze reported.
“We’re helping Obama repeal the Bill of Rights,” he told one man who signed the petition. “All of them.”
Dice told another man that most had already been removed by George W. Bush and told others the first 10 amendments had been replaced by NDAA, the controversial National Defense Authorization Act. He also told some the Bill of Rights had been replaced by the Patriot Act.
“We don’t really need them,” he told one woman who signed the petition.
“He’s done everything he can to repeal the Bill of Rights,” he said, speaking of Obama, “but we’re showing that the citizenry is right behind him.”
One man, however, took a stand for the Constitution, telling Dice he didn’t even want to talk to him.
“I want to thank you,” Dice said, explaining that he was on a type of Candid Camera. “Thank you for being intelligent.”
“Look, we understand that in public settings some people will sign just about anything so long as the person with the clipboard goes away (Lord knows we’ve done it before),” Beckett Adams wrote at The Blaze.
“But — come on — repealing the Bill of Rights?” he asked rhetorically.
Recently, Dice posted a video showing how little many people really knew about the Declaration of Independence, and another video showed a number of college students in Colorado signing a petition calling on Obama to spy on Fox News.
According to the YouTube description, Dice is the author of several books on current events, secret societies and conspiracies, including his newest book, Big Brother: The Orwellian Nightmare Come True which is available on Amazon.com, Kindle and Nook.
