In the Olympus Overdrive updates, Bobby discovers who her deity is. In Gunnerkrigg Court, we discover that who the love letter is really from and in Girl Genius we discover further proof that Tarvek is the white sheep of a very dysfunctional family. Gunnerkrigg Court in particular had some interesting revelations, and Girl Genius inspires a great deal of foreboding concerning what may or may not have happened to Mechanicsburg. The next Olympus Overdrive update will be a Flash animation, but there may not be Wednesday or Friday update for the week.
Bobby is not very happy about having received a package she hadn’t ordered, but Zeus is very insistent that she accept the package. Bobby is then shooed out of the room by Zeus, who apparently has a very important Bejeweled game she wants to get back to. Bobby retreats to a bathroom where she opens the Trojan Horse package. Bobby opens the package, and there is a flash of light blue light. We next see a black haired, light blue woman with freckles. She is dressed as a pirate. This is Poseidon, who would like Bobby to go get him as much wine as she can find.
(It seems as if Hades is the only one of the three brothers who has remained a boy.)
Kat exits the lab and laughs a little awkwardly about getting a love letter from a robot. It turns out that the love letter was not from Bobby after all. The letter was actually from Paz, she only asked for Bobby’s help in writing the letter and getting it to Kat. Paz has apparently had a crush on Kat since the night the class went out together. What’s interesting here is that during the get-together Paz rebuffed what she thought was a flirtation on Kat’s part, which resulted in Kat trying to look a little more “feminine” by wearing a pink headband with a daisy on it. Now we see that Paz was apparently in the closet at the time. It will be interesting to see what Kat’s response will be.
Tweedle tries to wake Agatha up, and Agatha denies that she was ever sleeping. They are interrupted by one of Tweedle’s kinsmen, a man named Leopold, and his minions. Tweedle seems to believe that he and Agatha have become allies under duress, a delusion that Agatha would obviously like to correct. Tweedle immediately kills Leopold and grabs one of the minions. After asserting his authority he begins interrogating the minion. The minion mentions Mechanicsburg in such a way that Agatha becomes alarmed and demands to know what happened to her town. The minion however is too busy stabbing Tweedle with a poisoned knife and then being killed for Agatha to find out. We end the update with Tweedle heading for the labs so he can neutralize the poison, and scolding Agatha because she clearly needs to get something to eat and rest.
