What if it were officially proclaimed a disease, would that give the impression an advancement’s been made in solving the obesity epidemic? Apparently. Come to think of it ‘epidemic’ is another word that adds fuel to the fire. Notice how well it goes together with the word ‘disease’ to spread panic and override critical thinking? It’s the perfect mix of ignorance and arrogance that makes it that much easier to throw up your hands and pop the latest pill (which only further acidifies the body and stymies natural healthy weight loss). It’s an easy sell too because, as anyone can tell you who’s tried exercising and watching their diet, they often end up losing the battle not the excess fat.
Staying physical active and eating plenty of freshly picked whole foods was enough to keep most people at their normal weight at one time. I’ve been around long enough to remember when obesity was an extremely rare occurrence. Back when I was growing up most people had a garden in their back yard, and spent several hours a week out there in the fresh air and sunshine. How things have changed. Maintaining health and vitality into old age is difficult enough even for those of us who take care of ourselves better than nothing. It’s virtually impossible for those who have not had the good fortunate or forthrightness to develop good self care habits, or have succumbed to obesity due to unawareness of the prevalence of synthetics such as GMO and the widespread contamination under deceptive ingredients like “natural flavours’.
What’s more we cannot blame the victim for the inability of exercise to aid weight loss. Compounding our notion of a homemade meal is warming up a prepackaged dinner in the microwave, and our idea of exercise is limited to specific adaptation to imposed demands is the very nature of how we collectively come to accept socially engineered ideas about obesity instead of real and lasting lifestyle solutions. Just because we don’t believe there’s an answer doesn’t mean there isn’t one. What we need to remember that one of the outcomes of obesity is a disturbance in the energy system, therefore it has special needs with respect to exercise. In order to lose weight with exercise in obesity it’s necessary to raise metabolic rate without stress. And for this it’s necessary to keep body pH slightly alkaline during exercise. Acidity results from the sympathetic neural activity associated with the circulatory shut down in deep organs, glands and tissues we normally experience during exercise and has been correlated with insulin resistance. Dominance of the sympathetic neural system is of even greater concern for diabetics than for athletes because sympathetic overactivity is related to major cardiovascular accidents.
Our level of pH fitness or acid-alkaline equilibrium is determined by the ability of exercise to distribute oxygen evenly throughout the body, organs and muscles equally, without over stimulating the sympathetic nervous system. In regards to exercise appropriate for the Obese, the solution is not simply “burning more calories with more exercise” because physical exertion typically stimulates the sympathetic nervous system which can lead to greater circulatory and neural imbalance, and the increase in inflammation indicative of insulin and leptin resistance. Furthermore studies have shown that basal and stimulated insulin secretion is higher in diabetics than the normal subjects and is not altered by conventional exercise training. When we take a clear headed approach to the facts, we see that it’s the neural and endocrine dysfunctions that predispose obese individuals to inflammatory reactions associated with diabetes and degenerative disease need to be the focus of our problem solving, not how far you can run or how much weight you can lift . Optimizing oxygen delivery and absorption in all the deep tissues of the body (not just in muscles) while balancing the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system enhances glucose utilization, and is among the most important benefits an exercise warm-up cool down can provide. Impossible? Not if you learn to reverse the pH acidity produced during your workout, and take a new approach to weight loss.
NOTE: Body’Fit pH Fitness™ (short form… pHx™) provides an excellent alternative, in terms of time and effort to conventional exercise (including short bursts of high intensity training) which cannot by itself optimize metabolism without neural imbalance. The Body’Fit pHx system is the first program of its kind specially designed to quickly mitigate in a matter of minutes the effects of S.A.I..D. exercise on populations who are at risk. Body’Fit pH Fitness sequence triggers neural and endocrine plexus in the order that stimulates the hypothalamus to enhance glucose uptake in peripheral tissues. In addition, by triggering adenosine with adrenaline to drive circulation into the deep organs fast, it’s observed Body’Fit pHx converts the constrictive action of adrenaline to dilation, mitigating hypertension symptomatic of obesity.
