Come on people, Reese Witherspoon is human. Witherspoon being arrested is “not” news. If anything, Witherspoon slightly damaged her all-American girl next door image. Reese’s husband however, showed us a different side of him. A side that I am sure many people didn’t like to see.
Atlanta nightlife has captured many stars and prominent figures at their worst; Amanda Davis, Fox 5 news anchor and Cleta Winslow, city councilwoman, District 4. Both were arrested for suspiscion of DUI. I believe that Toth excersised very, poor judgement during the night of his arrest. A high profile celebrity from out of town should practice a few precautions. You must first acknowledge that you are in a large, strange city. A vulnerable target because you are a celebrity.
- Party @ the room (If you have to appreciate the town; do it early before drinks and presume the party at the room.
- Have escorts (If you just have to get out the room have an escort; someone that can drive and that will be responsible for getting you back to your room.)
- Consider the fact of why you are in town (If you are in town for a movie or some event that will have you on camera. They goal is to stay fresh.)
On April 19th, 2013, James Toth was in question for his sobriety. Witherspoon only became a suspect when she exited the car, against the officers orders. Apparently, in total defense of her husband. Whereas, Atlanta news showed Witherspoon’s husband catering to the Atlanta police. Stating; “he had nothing to do with Witherspoon’s behavior.” What?! Who else is appauled?

Local Atlanta, rapper T.I. and his wife, Tamika “tiny” Cottle were arrested on DUI in California, they both went to jail. However, they stuck together. Toth was being arrested for a mere DUI (not to downplay DUI in any way) Thats to say; a high profile celebrity with a first time DUI will probably get a slap on the wrist. Reese became beligerent in defense of her husband and him down playing her conduct was not acceptable. I believe he should have focused on calming her down from whatever angle he was able to do so. Otherwise, he should have excersied his right to remain silent in front of the police.
I say; what else is James Toth capable of unbeknowst to the eyes of the lense of the camera. This is not gossip, but an actual account of his words recorded on camera. Indeed, a drunk mouth speaks a sober mind.
