Young & Fabulous is cultivating an under-developed niche in Austin; this Hill Country boutique brings the chic silhouette of New York to a fashion-hungry audience. The Galleria storefront boasts International labels, and designers from LA and NYC. Austin is progressing forward as an emerging city, and the fashion savvy locals are identifying with branding that fits their fast-paced lifestyle.
The W Hotel in downtown Austin will partner up with Young & Fabulous on June 6th for an exquisite evening of fashion and philanthropy. From 6:30 to 9:30, guests will indulge in cocktails and hors d’oeuvres amid the ambient atmosphere of the hotel’s wet deck. Hosted by TV personality, Holly Mills-Gardner, Young & Fabulous will showcase an exclusive fashion show with event proceeds benefiting Dell Children’s Hospital. RVN, David Lerner, AGAIN, and others will give guests a sample of what Y&F has in store this season.
Austin Fashion Week brought several Y&F designs to the 2013 Runways and Marketplace. RVN, Reese+Riley, L.A.M.B, and AGAIN walked La Zona Rosa and introduced a chic sophistication to AFW attendees. Each line bore a resemblance to the Y&F branding: clean femininity done up with a no-fuss air of confidence. The Y&F woman is put together with precision, and class. She exudes confidence and embraces her insatiable palette for finer pleasures. The showcases were well-received, and elicited whispers of approval from AFW patrons.
Capital City once bragged business casual in sundresses and flip-flops, but that was yesterday. Austin is welcoming more venues that encourage women to dig through the depths of their closet (or, shop the collections at Young & Fabulous) to find that little black (or green, or eggplant) dress; dressing up is an option again, and Young & Fabulous is your one stop destination for adding that extra spice to your wardrobe.
